Materials Needed:
- Fresh leaf (any size)
- Green paint
- Various colored paints (red, yellow, blue, purple, etc.)
- White round paper or any piece of paper
- Black marker
- Paintbrush
- Paper towel or old newspaper (to protect your workspace)
Instructions:
Prepare Your Workspace: Lay down a paper towel or newspaper to keep your area clean.
Paint the Leaf: Use a paintbrush to coat the textured side of the leaf with green paint.
Stamp the Leaf: Flip the painted side of the leaf onto your paper. Press gently to transfer the paint.
Peel the Leaf: Carefully lift the leaf off the paper. You will see a beautiful green leaf print!
Create the Caterpillar: Dip your fingertip into colored paint and make small dots along the leaf to form the caterpillar’s body.
Use different colors for a fun, rainbow effect!
Let It Dry: Allow the paint to dry completely.
Add Details: Use a black marker to draw two antennae on the caterpillar’s head. Add two eyes and two little legs on each colorful dot.
